Prior to joining Clifton, Mueller & Bovarnick, Mr. Mueller worked in litigation as an associate attorney at a local insurance defense firm, where he was involved in defending liability, bad faith, and coverage dispute cases. His current practice focuses on defense of employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation cases. Mr. Mueller is a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association.

Royce
W. Mueller completed his undergraduate
degree at the University of Northern Colorado in 1986. Before beginning his legal career, he
worked as a claims adjuster for CNA Insurance Companies, where he was
responsible for handling personal, commercial, and automobile liability claims.
Royce attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and was admitted to
the Colorado bar in 1993.
