The firm of Clifton, Mueller & Bovarnick, P.C. was founded in 1981 by James R. Clifton, president and majority shareholder.  The seven attorneys in the firm are assisted by a staff that includes paralegals and legal assistants.  The firm’s practice, which emphasizes insurance defense, concentrates in the areas of workers’ compensation; personal injury; premises, motor vehicle and product liability; property damage; insurance coverage; bad faith; insurance fraud; subrogation; employment law and related types of civil cases.  The firm litigates cases in state and federal courts in Colorado, the Office of Administrative Courts, and various arbitration forums.

As part of its on-going commitment to provide economical service to clients, the firm opened an office in Grand Junction in 1999.  Clients have the advantage of a Western slope presence and reduced legal fees and costs because of the elimination of traveling to and from Denver.
