Angelia
Maria K. Champoux obtained her
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Studies
from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2002. She was commissioned as
Second Lieutenant in the United States Army the same year and is currently
serving as a United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General Officer in the 87th
Legal Support Organization. In 2005, she obtained her juris doctor degree from
the University of Denver. A year later, in August 2006, Ms. Champoux obtained
her Master of Law in Taxation Degree from the University of Denver.
Prior to joining Clifton, Mueller, & Bovarnick,
Ms. Champoux worked in litigation as an associate attorney at Harris, Karstaedt,
Jamison, & Powers, where she defended general liability cases. Her current
practice focuses on insurance defense of general liability cases and defense of
employers and insurance companies in worker’s compensation claims.
Ms. Champoux is a member of the Colorado Bar
Association.
